Hindustani Classical Music

Hindustani Classical (Vocal) course is divided into levels. We start with the practice of Alankaras and then cover the ragas along with their Aroha Avroha, Pakad, Chalan, Vadi Swar, Samvadi Swar, That, Taal. Our students range from tiny tots to adults.

HINDUSTANI CLASSICAL MUSIC (VOCAL)

Bhajan

We mainly focus on Krishna bhajan, Mira bhajan, Ram Bhajn. Before the beginning of the course we make sure that the knowledge of swaras are strong enough in a learner. If requires we guide our students and help them to practice on the swaras first to improve their singing skill.

BHAJAN

Bangla Gaan

Our course is comprised of Ragpradhan, Nazrul Geeti and modern Bengali Songs.

BANGLA GAAN

Yoga

 In this course, you will start learning the basics of hatha yoga, asanas, pranayama (breathing exercises), and meditation in a balanced flow. You will also learn the modifications and contraindications of the practice to suit individual needs and realise the utmost value.

Pakhawaj

Pakhawaj is the sacred and ancient percussion instrument of India. This percussion instrument is known as the mother instrument of percussion in India. The Pakhawaj courses for the students are are divided in 4 parts: 1 Basic level , 2 Intermediate level, 3 Advanced level and 4 Accompaniment skill level.

Rabindra Sangeet

Smt. Shruti Sen started her music training at the early age of 7 years from her father who was very much talented in all forms of Tagore songs and literature formulated by Tagore. She then got her formal training in Rabindra Sangeet in India from Shri Arin Chatterjee and Shri Subinoy Roy.
